sister wives season 5“Sister Wives” is back for season 5, with the season premiere airing July 17 at 9 p.m. on TLC.

Kody, Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn return with a new season of drama, polygamy style.

The famous polygamist family, led by patriarch Kody Brown, may finally end up living under one roof this season.

For now, their gigantic family will stay in four adjacent houses, pay four hefty mortgages and try to earn a living with their struggling jewelry business.

Then there’s this: more kids. Yes, it’s beginning to look like the Browns are channeling their inner Duggar.

This season Meri will decide if she wants Robyn to be her surrogate. But Papa Kody will need to approve that first.

He probably should say “yes” because some of the kids in the house are between 17 and 19 years old.

They will probably want to leave the nest soon and start their own polygamist family — or live a normal life with one partner.
